Description

Lead application development and drive enterprise-level architecture and system design. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Own application development from design through deployment.
• Implement enterprise architecture and design patterns including MVC, Singleton, and Factory.
• Build and manage high-traffic e-commerce websites using WordPress or Drupal as headless backends via REST API.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Configure and administer AWS infrastructure, Linux OS, and application servers.

Required Skills

• 10-15 years of relevant software development experience.
• Expertise in MEAN and MERN stacks (MongoDB, Express, React, AngularJS, Node.js).
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Tailwind, and JSON.
• Advanced knowledge of WordPress/Drupal CMS, including WooCommerce and custom PHP development.
• Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, and integrating third-party services.
• Strong database skills in MongoDB, DynamoDB, and MySQL, including data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, WP Engine, and Linux system administration.
• Proficiency with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in digital media, publications, or non-profit governance domains.
• Knowledge of association membership and volunteer management technologies.
