Description

You will build and maintain web-based applications using Python, Django, and AWS services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement server-side technologies using RESTful APIs and MVC/MVT design patterns.
• Develop and maintain web applications with Python, Django, and PHP.
• Manage project deployment using Jenkins and Heroku.
• Utilize AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, MWAA, Glue, Athena, EMR, Redshift, DMS, and Lambda.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional programming experience.
• Expertise in Python and Django frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ and PHP.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS5, XML, and DHTML.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Cassandra.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and SQLite.
• Ability to program at a high level of abstraction using Scala and Spark.
• Experience with J2EE and JDK 1.7.

Preferred Skills

• Experience applying software configuration management principles within Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall methodologies.
