Description

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI, while deploying cloud-native applications on GCP.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy scalable services on GCP using Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and GCE.
• Design database schemas and optimize SQL queries for Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Troubleshoot application, system, and network issues in Linux environments.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and documentation using Jenkins, Maven, Jira, and Confluence.
• Collaborate in Agile teams to enhance features, fix defects, and support releases.

Required Skills

• 4–6 years of experience in full-stack or backend Python development.
• Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI) and REST API development.
• Proficiency with SQL databases, specifically Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Experience deploying applications on GCP using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Strong Linux troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and Maven.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
