Description

You will own the technical direction and execution for mission-critical payments systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute software design, development, and troubleshooting for complex problems.
• Produce secure, high-quality production code and lead code reviews.
• Automate remediation of recurring issues to ensure system stability.
• Lead architectural evaluations with vendors and internal teams.
• Drive engineering communities of practice for technology adoption.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering and system design.
• Advanced proficiency in Java with Spring Boot or equivalent.
• Experience designing large-scale, high-throughput payments applications.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices and RESTful webservices.
• Deep knowledge of Cloud Native Architecture and AWS (Compute, RDS, NoSQL, Serverless).
• Experience with data streaming technologies like Kafka or Kinesis.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with CI/CD and continuous delivery.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading vendor evaluations and architectural design sessions.
• Proven track record of driving engineering communities of practice.
