Description

You will own critical technology solutions and drive architectural decisions for large-scale, high-throughput payment applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, high-quality production code while troubleshooting complex technical problems.
• Lead code reviews, debugging efforts, and evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams.
• Automate remediation for recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Lead Communities of Practice to drive awareness of new technologies within Software Engineering.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of applied experience in system design, application development, and operational stability.
• Expert hands-on experience with Microservices and RESTful webservices in Java (Spring Boot or equivalent).
• Deep knowledge of Cloud Native Architecture on AWS, including Compute, Relational/NoSQL databases, and serverless designs.
• Proficiency with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and data streaming (Kafka/Kinesis).
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, and security practices.
• Formal AWS training or advanced AWS certifications covering the specified domains.
• Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery, and the full Software Development Life Cycle.

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated proficiency in cloud or machine learning disciplines.
