Description

Lead technical design and architecture for fullstack applications supporting underwriting processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, secure applications using modern frontend and backend frameworks.
• Guide and mentor developers, enforcing coding standards and best practices.
• Integrate systems by connecting with third-party APIs and internal platforms.
• Drive DevOps practices, including CI/CD automation and cloud deployment.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with frontend technologies: React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Proficiency in backend development using Node.js, Java, or .NET.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with databases, including SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Understanding of underwriting workflows, risk scoring, and policy management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira/Confluence/Git.
