Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Customer Master Data Management.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed Functional Specifications (FRD), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Define customer data models, business entities, business rules, hierarchies, data ownership, and governance processes.
  • Work with Data Stewards and business teams to define data quality, validation, enrichment, deduplication, and stewardship workflows.
  • Support the implementation of Match & Merge, Survivorship Rules, hierarchy management, and business approval processes.
  • Perform gap analysis between current and future-state business processes and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with MDM Developers and Solution Architects during design and implementation.
  • Support integration requirements between Informatica MDM and enterprise systems including Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, Enterprise Data Warehouse, and Dun & Bradstreet.
  • Participate in data migration planning, business validation, SIT, UAT, defect management, and production readiness.
  • Create process flows, functional documentation, training materials, and user guides.
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops, solution demonstrations, and user training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance policies and business standards.

Required Skills

  • 6–9 years of experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst.
  • Experience working on Master Data Management (MDM) or Data Governance projects.
  • Strong understanding of Customer Master Data concepts.
  • Experience in business process analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Knowledge of Informatica MDM (Customer 360 preferred).
  • Understanding of Data Quality, Data Governance, and Data Stewardship.
  • Experience with Match & Merge, Survivorship Rules, and Hierarchy Management concepts.
  • Strong SQL knowledge for data validation and analysis.
  • Experience with REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Informatica MDM is an added advantage.

  • Knowledge of ERP/CRM ecosystems.
  • Exposure to Data Warehousing and Reporting.
  • Strong facilitation and workshop management skills.
