Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Functional Analyst to work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, Salesforce developers, architects, and integration teams to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. The role will be responsible for requirements analysis, process optimization, functional design, testing, and successful delivery of Salesforce initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and functional requirements. 
• Conduct workshops, requirement gathering, process mapping, and impact analysis. 
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and process flows. 
• Analyze Salesforce capabilities and recommend appropriate standard or customized solutions. 
• Collaborate with Salesforce Architects and Developers to ensure functional requirements are technically feasible and aligned with platform best practices. 
• Support configuration decisions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or other Salesforce products. 
• Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and Salesforce platform optimization. 
• Define data requirements, business rules, field mappings, validation rules, and reporting requirements. 
• Work with integration teams to define functional requirements for API, event-driven, and system-to-system integrations. 
• Support solution walkthroughs, functional design reviews, and stakeholder demonstrations. 
• Prepare and execute functional testing, system integration testing, and UAT, including test scenarios and test cases. 
• Manage defects, coordinate resolution with technical teams, and ensure requirements are successfully delivered. 
• Support release planning, deployment validation, and post-production stabilization. 
• Maintain functional documentation, process documentation, and knowledge repositories. 
• Act as a bridge between business teams and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle. 

Required Skills 

• 10 + years of experience in Salesforce functional analysis, business analysis, or Salesforce implementation. 
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud. 
• Good understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, automation, reports, dashboards, and standard platform capabilities. 
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, user story creation, process mapping, and functional documentation. 
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments. 
• Good understanding of Salesforce configuration and ability to discuss solutions effectively with technical teams. 
• Experience with UAT, functional testing, defect management, and release processes. 
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. 
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and convert them into simple, scalable Salesforce solutions 
• Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification. 
• Experience with Sales cloud, Service Cloud , Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud,  or other Salesforce clouds. 
• Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, integration patterns, and data migration. 
• Experience with tools such as Jira, SNOW, Azure DevOps, and Confluence. 
• Knowledge of Salesforce Flow, Apex, Lightning, and LWC from a functional perspective. 
• Experience working in large-scale/global Salesforce programs. 
• Exposure to SAFe or scaled Agile delivery.
