Description

Functional API Test Engineer for airline applications, focusing on services and end-to-end testing within a SAFe Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Pair with Product Owners and Developers to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Estimate test effort for project releases and manage test planning.
• Champion system testability and evangelize testing best practices to shift quality to the left.
• Apply functional testing techniques to ensure high-quality, shippable product increments.
• Analyze processes to improve testing efficiency and system quality.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of experience in testing, with at least 3 years specifically in airline applications.
• Deep knowledge of Altea booking, customer management, schedules, IROPS, and airline process flows.
• Domain expertise in Aircraft Flight operations, Scheduling, and Weight and Balance.
• Hands-on experience with SQL queries, Postman, and SOAP UI.
• Proficiency with defect tracking and management tools including Jira, X-ray, and ALM.
• Experience working within SAFe Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of AWS tools and testing.
• Understanding of automated test concepts, automation setup, and test execution.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Technology or equivalent work experience.
