Description

You will provide functional support for the Pennsylvania Department of Health, focusing on PA-NEDSS and Electronic Case Reporting (eCR) systems. You will bridge technical implementation with operational requirements to ensure system reliability and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage eCR onboarding requests and coordinate activities between the CDC and external organizations.
• Monitor system performance and resource accounts to troubleshoot message issues or unexpected system behavior.
• Create and manage tickets in Azure DevOps for solution enhancements and issue tracking.
• Maintain technical documentation, training materials, and the agency eCR website.
• Participate in application release testing, daily triage, and weekly Change Control Board meetings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in functional architecture or technical support roles.
• Proven experience with Electronic Case Reporting (eCR) workflows.
• Proficiency reading and working with CDA and XML documents.
• Hands-on experience with NEDSS.
• Technical expertise in XML and XSD.
• Experience with HL7 V2 standards.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Azure DevOps and Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
• Ability to interpret CMS Promoting Interoperability Program requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JavaScript coding.
