Description

You will design and implement the FIDO authentication framework to enable CJIS-compliant Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and machine registration.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs for integrating FIDO-based MFA with Azure, Microsoft Entra, Active Directory, and Commonwealth PKI.
• Evaluate FIDO2 security keys, smartcards, and Windows Hello for Business as authentication methods.
• Ensure all solutions comply with CJIS Security Policy, CJIS Requirements Companion Document, and NIST SP 800-63 guidelines.
• Oversee the integration of MFA solutions with existing infrastructure and public safety applications.
• Produce technical documentation, integration guidance, and evaluation reports for device registration and machine identification.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with FIDO-based authentication solutions.
• Technical expertise in Azure, Microsoft Entra, and Active Directory (AD).
• Working knowledge of FIDO2 security keys, smartcards, and Windows Hello for Business.
• Experience with Commonwealth PKI and certificate services.
• Knowledge of unified endpoint identification, registration, and authentication.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-63 and CJIS regulatory frameworks.
• Experience evaluating machine registration processes via Microsoft Intune, Workspace One, or AD.
