Description

Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, API, and integration testing. Build reusable automation frameworks, libraries, utilities, and test data support components. Identify automation candidates based on stability, repeatability, and business criticality. Execute automated test suites and analyze failures, logs, reports, and defect trends. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation frameworks for functional and API testing.

• Execute test suites and analyze logs, reports, and defect trends to drive quality improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in test automation concepts and framework design.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or Newman.
• Ability to work with JSON and XML data formats for REST/SOAP testing.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience maintaining test assets over a 3-year tenure.
