Description

You will own the end-to-end dispute lifecycle for payments products, ensuring compliance with network rules and regulatory standards. This role requires deep expertise in ATM, debit/credit cards, ACH, and P2P (Zelle) dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full dispute process lifecycle, including intake, investigation, provisional credit, representment, arbitration, and recovery.
• Analyze dispute trends, root causes, and leakage points to drive actionable insights for fraud prevention and operational improvement.
• Handle fraud and non-fraud disputes, including unauthorized transactions, ATM cash claims, merchant disputes, and ACH returns.
• Coordinate with card networks, sponsor banks, and third-party processors to resolve complex cases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in payments disputes and chargebacks across ATM, debit/credit cards, ACH, and P2P.
• Strong working knowledge of network rules (Visa, Mastercard, NACHA) and regulations (Reg E, Reg Z).
• Expertise in Zelle dispute handling, including scam vs. unauthorized classification and liability assessment.
• Proficiency in analyzing dispute trends and driving operational improvements.
• Familiarity with tools like TSYS and FIS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with third-party processors and bank-to-bank coordination.
• Understanding of regulatory timelines and customer communication standards.
