Functional Data Architect

Web Synergies is seeking a highly skilled Functional Data Architect with expertise in SAP implementations, particularly around Master Data Management and Data Migration. This role will lead data architecture and governance for SAP rollouts, ensuring the successful integration of data across various business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data architecture and governance for SAP implementations and rollouts.
• Design and define data migration strategies from source to target SAP systems.
• Collaborate with functional consultants across SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI, CO) to ensure alignment of data structures and dependencies.
• Analyse legacy data and map it to SAP master data, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Act as a point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure smooth communication and project execution.

Required Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in SAP implementations, with at least 3 full-cycle SAP projects.
• Proven experience in data migration and data architecture roles.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Master Data (Customer, Vendor, Material, BOM, etc.).
• Experience working with 1–2 core SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM).
• Strong understanding of data dependencies and cross-module integration.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Japanese language proficiency is preferred (but not mandatory)
