Description

You will lead the functional architecture for transportation systems, specifically focusing on crash data problem domains.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing functionality and data stores to identify service gaps and redundancies.
• Develop designs, proposals, prototypes, and architecture plans to define visions for crash-related systems.
• Oversee all project phases including design, coding, configuration, testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Mentor application developers in the design, development, assembly, testing, and deployment of complex software systems.
• Track and communicate project constraints including risks, time, resources, and scope.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software architecture or development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and full-stack development.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing software solutions.
• Ability to recommend technical frameworks, technologies, and implementation patterns.
• Experience with Azure Cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of unit testing methodologies such as JUnit.
• Experience developing data migration plans and performance KPIs.
• Capability to research and consume enterprise services like identity and access management, content management, and GIS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevSecOps practices focused on reducing total cost of ownership.
