This role drives SAP CO transformation by owning solution design, architecture, and functional leadership for complex implementation projects.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into end-to-end SAP CO solution designs and guide configuration teams.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and scalable design in partnership with Product Managers.
• Lead design decision-making, resolve solution questions, and identify value drivers for the transformation roadmap.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to shape the functional roadmap and ensure cross-domain integration.
• Promote configuration-first approaches, manage sprint execution, and oversee defect resolution and cutover planning.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in SAP FICO with a strong focus on SAP CO.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and implementing solutions in SAP CO (Profitability Analysis, Product Costing, Cost & Profit Center Accounting).
• Demonstrated experience owning end-to-end solution design and providing direction to configuration teams.
• Deep understanding of controlling processes and leadership in multiple complex SAP implementation projects.
• Good understanding of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Produce, and Record to Report process flows.
• Experience integrating controlling processes with Sales and Distribution, Production, and Procurement modules.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle, SAP Project Implementation Methodology, and project management tools.
• Working knowledge of Agile principles and frameworks including Scrum and/or Kanban.

Preferred Skills

• Certification and hands-on experience with S/4HANA Finance (at least one implementation cycle).
• Knowledge or experience with Event-Based Revenue Recognition (EBRR) or Revenue Accounting & Reporting (SAP RAR).
• SAFe experience and understanding of financial flows for manufacturing processes (MTS, MTO, CTO, ETO).
