Description

Lead end-to-end project delivery for healthcare initiatives, owning scope, timeline, budget, risks, and outcomes.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery sessions with clinical, billing, compliance, and IT stakeholders to document BRD/FRD, process flows, and user stories.
• Map healthcare workflows including patient access, scheduling, clinical documentation, orders, results, claims, and authorizations.
• Drive project governance through RAID logs, change control, communication plans, steering committee updates, and weekly status reporting.
• Coordinate UAT with clinical and business users, managing test planning, defect triage, and final sign-off.
• Manage go-live planning including cutover checklists, training coordination, hypercare support, and post-go-live stabilization.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Project Management experience, specifically within healthcare domain projects.
• Strong functional skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Experience delivering projects involving EHR/EMR workflows or revenue cycle operations.
• Proven UAT leadership experience with the ability to drive business sign-offs.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies (hybrid experience preferred).
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, and SharePoint.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Meditech, or eClinicalWorks.
• Knowledge of healthcare integrations (HL7, FHIR, interfaces, lab systems).
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CSM/PSM, or ITIL.
