Description

You will own the functional quality assurance process for web and mobile applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and technical documentation to create test plans and test cases.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system tests, including sanity, smoke, and UAT.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with development teams to verify fixes and validate business logic via database queries.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and suggest improvements to the QA process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with defect tracking tools: Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in database testing and writing basic SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and sprint-based testing.
• Experience with test management tools such as ALM.
• Knowledge of API Testing, preferably using Postman.
• Working knowledge of JQuery.
