Description

You will own functional testing within the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-stream test preparation, including test scenario identification, test case design, and test data setup.
• Execute functional, integration, and system testing within sprint timelines.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Identify, log, and track defects through closure with clear reproduction steps.
• Contribute to test automation using Playwright for regression and critical flows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in functional testing.
• Strong understanding of STLC and Agile methodology.
• Hands-on experience in Capital Markets Back Office domain.
• Experience in in-stream testing within Agile delivery models.
• Working knowledge of Playwright automation using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Good understanding of API testing and integration testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
• Basic understanding of SQL and Unix commands.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Capital Markets trading or post‑trade systems.
• Experience with test automation framework design using Playwright.
