Description

You will own the end-to-end functional testing process for web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements with product owners to ensure testability.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual testing focusing on functionality, usability, and performance.
• Identify, document, and report defects using Jira, collaborating with developers on resolutions.
• Maintain accurate test documentation, including results and quality metrics like defect density and coverage.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in functional testing.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
• Proficiency in test management and creating testing artifacts.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Jira or TestRail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of automation tools including Selenium or Appium.
