Description

You will perform functional testing on Health and Human Services systems, ensuring quality across web-based applications and legacy replacements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review system documentation to identify test objectives and develop or update test scenarios.
• Execute functional and regression test scenarios for web-based applications.
• Write, update, and track test cases and defects, generating failed test case reports.
• Validate database results by writing and modifying SQL queries of moderate complexity.
• Coordinate across teams to gather information, present findings, and resolve issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience testing Health and Human Services (HHS) systems.
• Expertise in Integrated Eligibility (IE) rules testing for programs like TANF, Medicaid, SNAP, and Child Care.
• Proficiency in testing techniques including white-box, black-box, coverage, and regression.
• Demonstrated experience testing batches, interfaces (flat files, SOAP UI), reports, and security roles.
• Ability to write and modify SQL queries to validate database results.
• Experience testing web-based replacements of legacy systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Test automation experience.
• Experience with methodologies such as Agile, RUP, Lean, or Waterfall.
