Description

Lead the architectural design and implementation of scalable, secure cloud-native applications and microservices for GA DHS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices-based architectures using Java, C++, and NodeJS to replace monolithic systems.
• Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS, prioritizing availability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Manage and automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Implement monitoring solutions for infrastructure and applications using Dynatrace and Splunk.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture or senior development roles.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, and NodeJS.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and NestJS.
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture and containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, and EKS.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular.
• Practical knowledge of Salesforce and ServiceNow integration.
• Experience managing relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
