Description

You manage Google Cloud Platform services, oversee data engineering pipelines, and lead offshore development efforts.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer GCP services, managing user access, service accounts, and Cloud Security troubleshooting.
• Monitor service performance, proactively resolving issues in data pipelines and job execution.
• Develop and maintain Data Engineering pipelines for BigQuery ingestion and create Looker dashboards.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for artifact deployment using Jenkins and Git across multiple environments.
• Lead offshore GCP engineers on development tasks and manage Cloud Composer upgrades.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on GCP administration (Cloud Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer).
• Expertise in GCP cost management using SRE Log analytics for BigQuery and workload management.
• Strong experience with ETL processes, streaming data, Kafka, APIs, and SQL.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and Windows/Unix command-line operations.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows, Git, and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements such as SOX and CCPA.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
