Description

You will manage and maintain the Google Data Platform, ETL processes, and associated infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks including Windows/Unix server maintenance, user provisioning, and system account authorizations using Google IAM rules.
• Develop scripts to automate platform monitoring, alerts, and deployment processes.
• Manage user access for Talend products and troubleshoot remote engine clusters.
• Monitor GCP service performance, optimize production services, and track cloud costs for leadership reporting.
• Propose technical fixes to the Cloud Engineering team and respond to incidents and alerts.

Required Skills

• Hands-on administration of GCP services including Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub-Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Composer.
• Experience with ETL processes, messaging patterns, streaming data, Kafka, APIs, and SQL.
• Proficiency in Python and Windows/Unix command-line scripting.
• Experience managing job scheduling in Airflow.
• Understanding of Git workflows and the SDLC across multiple environments.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BigQuery optimization and cluster performance tuning.
• Experience automating service deployments and configuration updates.
