Description

You will administer and manage Google Cloud Platform environments, ensuring infrastructure is scalable, secure, and highly available.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain GCP infrastructure including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, and GKE.
• Manage IAM roles, permissions, service accounts, and security policies to enforce best practices.
• Implement and maintain networking components such as VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using Google Cloud Monitoring and Logging.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Google Cloud Platform administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Cloud Storage.
• Deep knowledge of VPC networking, IAM, and Linux-based systems.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Cloud Build.
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and performance issues.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization using billing reports and budgets.
• Exposure to Deployment Manager.
