Description

You will manage Google Cloud Platform operations, development tasks, and cost optimization to ensure platform availability and performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage Google Cloud Platform services to ensure consistent operations and availability across non-production and production environments.
• Develop operational dashboards to provide platform insights and monitor system health.
• Execute cost management and optimization strategies as an SRE.
• Support the SDLC by managing multiple environments and workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud administration or related roles.
• Hands-on administration of GCP services including BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Cloud Compute, Cloud Pub-Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer, and Dataproc.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and Unix/Windows commands.
• Experience with ETL processes, streaming data, Kafka, APIs, and SQL.
• Experience managing CI/CD, Git, and Jenkins workflows.
• Strong understanding of workload management and cost optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience automating service deployments and configuration updates.
