Description

You will split your time between administering Google Cloud Platform services and developing data pipelines.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer GCP services including Cloud Dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Functions, Composer, and Dataproc.
• Manage cost optimization and resource allocation as a Site Reliability Engineer.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes and streaming data pipelines.
• Write Python scripts and execute commands across Windows and Unix environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud environments.
• Hands-on administration of GCP services: Dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Functions, Composer, Dataproc.
• Proficiency in Python scripting.
• Experience with ETL processes and streaming data.
• Working knowledge of Kafka.
• Experience with APIs and SQL.
• Ability to work with Windows and Unix commands.
