Description

You will investigate and resolve complex billing disputes, credit requests, and usage anomalies for Google Cloud customers. You will troubleshoot access issues, verify billing account roles, and ensure customers understand their cloud spend through detailed reporting.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve intricate billing disputes, including tax-related inquiries and financial adjustments.
• Review resolved billing tickets against quality control rubrics to ensure technical accuracy and communication standards.
• Explain cloud spend impacts, committed use discounts (CUDs), and sustained use discounts (SUDs) to customers.
• Identify recurring billing friction points and collaborate with trainers to develop documentation or training modules.
• Ensure all account modifications and financial adjustments comply with internal anti-fraud and compliance policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical support or customer service within cloud computing.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) billing, including cost tables, quotas, and billing reports.
• Proficiency in FinOps principles and IAM for secure account management.
• Experience with BigQuery for analyzing usage data and identifying anomalies.
• Strong quality assurance background with attention to detail in technical documentation.
• Ability to handle billing disputes, peer reviews, and tax-related inquiries professionally.
• Experience with process improvement and creating training materials for teams.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience resolving billing disputes and handling anti-fraud compliance policies.
• Familiarity with tax-related inquiries and financial adjustment workflows in cloud environments.
