Description

You will resolve complex billing disputes, credit requests, and usage anomalies for Google Cloud customers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve intricate billing disputes, including tax-related inquiries and financial adjustments.
• Troubleshoot access issues, verify billing account roles, and ensure customers understand their cloud spend.
• Review resolved billing tickets against quality control rubrics to ensure technical accuracy.
• Explain cloud spend impacts, committed use discounts (CUDs), and sustained use discounts (SUDs) to customers.
• Identify recurring billing friction points and collaborate with trainers to develop documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical support or customer service within cloud computing.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) billing, including cost tables, quotas, and billing reports.
• Proficiency in FinOps principles and IAM for secure account management.
• Experience with BigQuery for analyzing usage data and identifying anomalies.
• Strong quality assurance background with attention to detail in technical documentation.
• Ability to handle billing disputes, peer reviews, and tax-related inquiries professionally.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience resolving billing disputes and handling anti-fraud compliance policies.
• Familiarity with tax-related inquiries and financial adjustment workflows in cloud environments.
