Key Responsibilities

Analyze code, tickets, documentation, and technical issues to identify root causes and recommend solutions.

Develop and maintain GCP infrastructure using Terraform and Python.

Support GCP resource hierarchy, IAM, organization policies, networking, logging, and security controls.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, code reviews, and policy checks.

Use agentic coding tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot Agent Mode for multi-step engineering tasks.

Develop and improve AI agent workflows, prompts, skills, evaluations, and guardrails.

Identify recurring issues and develop reusable modules, standards, and solutions across teams.

Support cloud security, risk, and compliance activities, including Security Command Center and VPC Service Controls.

Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve dependencies and unblock delivery.

Maintain technical documentation, JIRA tickets, Confluence pages, and evidence-based decision notes.

Required Skills

12+ years of overall IT experience.

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Experience with GCP IAM, resource hierarchy, organization policies, networking, and logging.

Strong programming and automation skills in Python and Terraform.

Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated testing.

Practical experience using agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot Agent Mode, or similar tools.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.

Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience building or evaluating LLM agents, MCP servers, or agent frameworks.

Background in cloud security, risk, governance, or compliance within financial services.

Understanding of responsible AI usage and model risk in regulated environments.

GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification.

Experience with AWS or Azure landing zones.

Experience with JIRA and Confluence API automation
