Description

You will design and implement scalable cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions using GCP services including Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives involving the rehosting, refactoring, and re-platforming of legacy applications.
• Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to establish architectural patterns for application teams.
• Optimize cloud workloads for performance, resource usage, and cost efficiency.
• Guide development teams on microservices architecture and provide technical troubleshooting for cloud-related issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing or as a GCP Architect.
• Deep expertise in GCP services, networking, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Direct experience with data migration projects, ETL processes, and large-scale databases.
• Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and identity management.
• Familiarity with cloud cost management and optimization strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Certified Professional Architect or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience with legacy modernization projects.
