Description

Migrate legacy applications to Google Cloud Platform and build complex serverless solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing applications to GCP environments with minimal production risk.
• Design, develop, and implement applications using Python, Java, and SQL.
• Build complex solutions using Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.
• Analyze production operations via monitoring and root cause analysis to improve stability.
• Mentor less experienced teammates on GCP technologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Extensive hands-on experience with GCP migrations.
• Proficiency in Python and Java for application development.
• Strong SQL skills for data handling and querying.
• Practical experience with Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle, application design patterns, and APIs.
• Understanding of operating systems, databases, application servers, and web servers.
• Ability to perform capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis.
