Description

You will lead end-to-end GCP cloud migration programs for telecommunications OSS/BSS platforms, managing the full lifecycle from planning through post-migration stabilization.

Since is_remote, hybrid, and on_site are all 0, no work-mode line is included.

Responsibilities

• Define migration strategies, scopes, timelines, and success metrics for complex GCP migrations.
• Drive execution of lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting efforts for network applications.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, and governance frameworks to ensure secure and compliant migrations.
• Ensure interoperability with legacy telecom systems and support operational readiness post-migration.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in cloud architecture or program management.
• Deep knowledge of GCP core services: Compute Engine, Virtual Private Cloud, and Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Hands-on experience with GCP migration tools: Migrate to Virtual Machines, Database Migration Service, and Storage Transfer Service.
• Strong understanding of telecom systems, including OSS/BSS platforms and network applications.
• Proven experience managing complex GCP migration programs, preferably in the telecom sector.
• Expertise in cloud migration strategies, governance, risk management, and compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
