Description

You will design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient platforms on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect platforms using BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud SQL, Anthos, Cloud Spanner, Pub/Sub, and Kubernetes Engine.
• Incorporate data virtualization tools like Starburst or Denodo to enable unified access to diverse data sources.
• Develop architectural blueprints for cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premises integrations.
• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Evaluate and implement strategies to improve data query performance in virtualized environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience working with GCP services.
• Mandatory banking industry experience.
• Expertise in GCP services including BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Kubernetes Engine.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data architecture, and data governance.
• Proficiency in SQL and distributed query optimization.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go for scripting and application development.
• Understanding of microservices, serverless technologies, and distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of machine learning workflows and AI/ML platforms.
• GCP Cloud Architect, GCP Professional Data Engineer, or AWS Solutions Architect certifications.
