Description

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex data systems and cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex data architectures and conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Resolve complicated data pipeline issues and provide technical direction on cloud technology adoption.
• Manage senior stakeholders to ensure project delivery aligns with long-term strategic roadmaps.
• Create and maintain documentation for data architecture, data flows, and data warehouse models.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years as a Cloud Data (GCP) Architect.
• Google Cloud Platform Architect certification.
• Google Cloud Platform Security Engineer certification.
• Hands-on experience with at least one complex BigQuery Data Warehouse implementation.
• Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL data stores, including star and snowflake schemas and dimensional modelling.
• Experience developing reference architecture, principles, and standards.
• Knowledge of data security, data access controls, and design aspects.
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in GCP Platform as a Service (PaaS) components.
