Description

You will design and implement security architecture and network controls within a Google Cloud Platform environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage network security controls using GCP Firewall Rules, VPC Service Controls, and Private Service Connect.
• Implement and enforce organizational security policies using IAM, Security Command Center, and Forseti Security.
• Automate security controls and compliance checks within CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and incident response activities.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in cloud security or DevOps roles with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
• Deep understanding of GCP networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, and load balancing.
• Hands-on experience with IAM, Cloud Armor, and KMS.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager for IaC.
• Knowledge of CI/CD automation and DevOps principles.
• Experience with Jenkins and deployment processes.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant GCP certifications such as Security Engineer or Cloud Architect.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
