Description

You will design and implement highly distributed global cloud-based systems on GCP, focusing on network infrastructure, security, and data architecture.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement highly distributed global cloud systems, ensuring robust network infrastructure and security protocols.
• Manage application and data migrations from on-premises environments to the cloud at the infrastructure level.
• Design and configure Application Load Balancers, Content Delivery Networks, and Service Accounts.
• Establish infrastructure for microservices operating within Kubernetes Engine and implement Disaster Recovery setups in active/active or active/passive modes.
• Develop cloud adoption roadmaps and business cases by assessing workloads and technology landscapes for cloud suitability.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in cloud technology.
• Hands-on experience with GCP native services: Cloud Storage, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run, and App Engine.
• Proficient knowledge of Kubernetes and practical experience with GCP Infrastructure services.
• Expertise in provisioning GCP infrastructure using Terraform.
• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices and hybrid cloud deployments.
• Understanding of large-scale computing solutions and enterprise technology evaluation processes.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to optimize cloud costs and manage hybrid cloud deployments effectively.
