Description

You design and implement cloud-based solutions and technical architectures within the GCP ecosystem for financial services clients.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural directions, technical design, and delivery quality for client requirements.
• Design and innovate technical services, creating POCs to accelerate development cycles.
• Analyze existing architectures to prescribe necessary technology upgrades and new frameworks.
• Provide technical analysis for requirements, including web services, data access repositories, and workflows.
• Collaborate with pre-sales and marketing teams to develop productized solution offerings and RFP responses.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in information technology and enterprise technologies.
• 15+ years of experience designing and implementing distributed applications and systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience architecting solutions specifically on GCP.
• Proven experience leading a GCP Cloud Center of Excellence or a market-facing IT service unit.
• Direct experience architecting and implementing cloud-native solutions with successful go-live milestones.
• Experience implementing GCP native services for the finance industry.
• Ability to interact with and influence CTO-level stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Agile practices.

Preferred Skills

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer certifications.
• Experience with Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
