Description

You will design and manage GCP cloud architecture and Kafka clusters within distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Kafka clusters and distributed data streaming architectures.
• Design and implement infrastructure using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Secure environments using established network security principles and practices.
• Communicate technical solutions to clients to support project expansion and security.
• Automate workflows using shell scripting and Linux/Unix environments.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience as a Kafka Administrator or managing Kafka clusters.
• 5+ years of experience as a GCP Cloud Architect.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency with Linux and Unix operating systems.
• Experience with Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of network security principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
