Description

Design and implement automation frameworks to drive developer self-service and highly available cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design service automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and Policy-as-Code.
• Develop frameworks for automating Day 0, 1, and 2 infrastructure operations across hybrid cloud environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and testing automation for infrastructure configuration.
• Integrate REST APIs to connect infrastructure components and automate delivery pipelines.
• Act as an escalation point for incidents and problems related to automation systems.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience specifically with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.
• Experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Strong knowledge of Jenkins, including multi-branch pipelines.
• Scripting expertise in Python or Shell.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and networking.
• Experience with tools such as Terragrunt and Atlantis.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Analysis.
