Description

You will develop and manage backend services within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem. You own the full lifecycle of backend logic and service migrations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend logic using Google App Engine, Google Functions, and Firebase.
• Integrate Firestore and Cloud Storage into existing application architectures.
• Manage the integration of GCP and AWS services with iOS and Android mobile interfaces.
• Execute service migrations from GCP (Kotlin, JavaScript) to AWS (Java, Lambda functions).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience specifically as a Google Cloud backend developer.
• Strong proficiency with Firebase, including Firestore and Storage.
• Hands-on experience with Google App Engine and Google Functions.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and JavaScript.
• Experience working with AWS services.
• Experience integrating mobile app interfaces with cloud backend services.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating workloads from Kotlin/JavaScript environments to Java/Lambda environments.
