Description

You will develop and scale big data applications on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Big Data solutions on GCP.
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insights.
• Optimize data processing workflows and ensure data quality.
• Implement best practices for data governance and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and application performance.

Required Skills

• 5 to 9 years of experience in Big Data development and data engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Hive.
• Experience using GCP services like Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
• Strong understanding of ETL Processes and data pipeline development.
• Proficiency with Python or Scala for scripting and development.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and cloud security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
