Description

You will design and build scalable Big Data applications on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement fast, scalable, and flexible software solutions.
• Develop Big Data applications using Java and Scala.
• Manage and query data across NoSQL databases and Big Data frameworks.
• Implement solutions within Linux environments using git and maven or gradle.
• Query data using Hive and Big Query.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Scala.
• Strong SQL and Big Data expertise.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MapR DB, HBase, or Cassandra).
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop (MapR), Spark, and Yarn.
• Experience with Big Query and GCP Cloud Computing.
• Working knowledge of Linux, git, and maven or gradle.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
