Description

• 4+ years of experience in Big Data / Data Engineering
• Strong understanding of Scala and distributed data processing
• Experience designing and deploying large-scale distributed data processing systems
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, SQL and relational/non-relational databases
• Exposure to Enterprise Data Warehouse technologies
• Understanding of Big Data modeling techniques
• Ability to understand and develop application logic at the technical/code level
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and communicate code issues
• Experience with automated unit testing, integration testing and CI/CD
• Experience with Git/GitHub, Jenkins and Ansible
• Experience working with JIRA and Agile methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban
• Understanding of Cloud Design Patterns
• Ability to design architecturally sound solutions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working with global and enterprise clients
• Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and adapt
