Description

You will lead the architecture and technical strategy for migrating enterprise applications to Google Cloud Platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migration of legacy applications to GCP, covering assessment, design, re-platforming, and modernization.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on GCP services, architecture patterns, and migration strategies.
• Build application modernization roadmaps using Java and C#, ensuring microservices and API-first design best practices.
• Develop and govern CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, and Artifact Registry.
• Present architecture recommendations and designs to customers and executives.

Required Skills

• 15+ years in IT with strong customer-facing architecture and service delivery experience.
• 4+ years in application architecture domains (software development, cloud computing, or distributed systems).
• 2+ years hands-on experience architecting and operating cloud solutions, with GCP as the primary platform.
• Proven experience migrating or transforming legacy enterprise applications to Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in designing solutions leveraging Java, C#, and APIs.
• Familiarity with the Google Cloud Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and Cloud Build.
• Experience with BigQuery and Cloud SQL.
