Description

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud architecture using Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and Kubernetes Engine.
• Design migration plans for applications, data, and infrastructure to GCP with minimal downtime.
• Configure GCP environments including VPCs, IAM policies, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
• Optimize resource usage for performance, cost-efficiency, high availability, and disaster recovery.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Expertise in Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and App Engine.
• Deep knowledge of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking: VPC, VPN, Interconnect, and DNS.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Experience designing microservices architectures and containerized workloads.
• Technical proficiency with Terraform, Deployment Manager, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer.
• Knowledge of AI/ML services on GCP, including Vertex AI and AutoML.
• Security certifications like CCSP or CISSP.
