Description

You will design and build highly available, automated infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, focusing on developer self-service and Infrastructure-as-Code.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement service automation using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Atlantis for Infrastructure-as-Code and Policy-as-Code.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (multibranch), integrating REST APIs and tools like Packer and Ansible for Day 0, 1, and 2 operations.
• Develop automated testing frameworks to validate infrastructure configurations and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
• Drive DevSecOps practices by integrating security into cloud services and establishing configuration management methods.
• Act as the escalation point for incidents, coordinating resolution for automation failures and operational issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Automation roles.
• Strong proficiency with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) public cloud services and automation.
• Expert-level knowledge of Terraform and Terragrunt for Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Hands-on experience with containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Shell.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems, networking, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins multibranch pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Policy-as-Code frameworks and hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of tooling and dashboarding for operational visibility.
