Description

You will serve as the primary technical leader for Google Cloud Platform, guiding clients through end-to-end cloud transformations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and document complex, multi-layered cloud architectures aligned with security, cost-optimization, and business objectives.
• Lead large-scale cloud migration projects, including re-hosting, re-platforming, and re-architecting applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Google Cloud tools, Jenkins, or GitLab.
• Perform technical assessments of existing environments to develop migration and modernization roadmaps.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in cloud computing.
• 3-4 years in a hands-on GCP consultant or architect role.
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• Deep expertise in GCP services: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Spanner.
• Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Hands-on scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud security, including IAM and VPC Service Controls.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Professional DevOps Engineer or Professional Security Engineer certifications.
• Experience with GCP data and AI services such as Dataflow, Dataproc, AI Platform, or VertexAI.
