Description

Enable developers to build and deploy scalable, cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform through tooling, mentorship, and best practices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Mentor developers on cloud-native principles, GCP services, and deployment best practices.
• Design and build internal tools, libraries, and frameworks to simplify cloud development workflows.
• Develop documentation and run workshops on CI/CD, IaC, and GCP service usage.
• Collaborate with platform and operations teams to ensure secure, scalable infrastructure.
• Conduct code reviews and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated, seamless deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years on GCP or other cloud platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or Node.js for cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: GCE, GKE, Cloud Functions, App Engine, Firestore, Cloud SQL, VPC, and Cloud Load Balancing.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager).
• Ability to simplify complex cloud concepts and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• GCP Professional Cloud Developer or Architect certification.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
