Description

You will design, deploy, and manage core Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain GCP networking components including VPCs, Cloud DNS, firewall rules, and load balancing.
• Implement security policies and IAM controls to enforce least privilege access across cloud resources.
• Develop and manage infrastructure deployment using Terraform for consistency and version control.
• Utilize Cloud Logging and Monitoring to proactively identify and resolve operational issues.
• Integrate infrastructure changes through automated CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and Git.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience working hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong administration skills in Linux environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform.
• Practical experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python for automation and CLI tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GCP foundational services including VPC, Cloud DNS, and IAM.
• Experience with both network and application layer load balancers.

Preferred Skills

• GCP Associate Cloud Engineer certification or equivalent professional GCP certification.
• Exposure to containerization tools like Docker, Podman, or Buildah.
• Experience with Kubernetes, either standalone or via cloud providers (GKE or EKS).
